Who we are

Established in 1928, South Foster Volunteer Fire Company protects lives and property across the northern half of Foster — and answers every 911 medical call in town as Foster EMS.

Nearly a century on, we operate from a modern station with a full fleet of fire and rescue apparatus, and we welcome new members every year. Our fire company is still volunteer; Foster EMS is now career-staffed around the clock. The Town of Foster funds part of the operation; the rest is covered by donations and fundraising from the community we serve.
